Overview

At Milford School our mission is to help every child in our care to "Grow, Learn, Believe, Achieve" - we work hard to instill a positive approach to learning.

We believe that working in partnership with parents, carers, governors and our community is essential to ensure our continued success. A family atmosphere is fostered within which children feel confident to express themselves and know that success in any aspect of their lives will be rewarded and celebrated.

We are passionate about the school providing a positive and stimulating learning environment. Our interesting and spacious school grounds enhance the children’s learning greatly.

We have a team of talented, caring and dedicated staff who work hard to ensure the best possible progress for all of the children in their care. This is achieved through excellent teaching and learning, catering for a range of learning styles.

In the school's most recent Ofsted inspection in November 2018 we were judged to be "Good". Click here to view a copy of the latest school OFSTED Report.

I look forward to welcoming you to the school. If you would like to visit, please contact the school office, where you will greeted by either Rose, Steph or Lorraine and I will be happy to show you what Milford has to offer.

About Us

We have 6 classes across Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

We are fortunate to be well situated, near to the A3 and benefit from having expansive grounds for the children to play and learn.

We have an active PTA called The Friends of Milford School, who work tirelessly to support the schools strategic aims and provide fun events and some 'nice to have' items.

Most recently the Friends paid for and installed a brand new library in our outbuilding which we are excited about opening up to our community.

Milford School tries to help staff to achieve a work-life balance wherever possible and has systems in place to support this.

Thank you for finding out more about our lovely school and maybe we will see you here soon.
