Oakhill Primary Academy provides education across the whole range of ability for pupils aged four to eleven .
The school was opened in 1996 and is set amidst attractive grounds, having a rural aspect to the rear of the building. The Foundation Stage is an integral part of the school, as are the two separate dining rooms adjacent to the kitchen. There are ten carpeted classrooms each with shared areas for role-play, library or craft rooms. We have a library, computer suite, hall and areas for resources.
We are proud to have a good reputation in the community. This has been built upon a happy atmosphere in which each member of staff knows every child in school and provides a most caring and interested approach to each child's welfare.
We aim to accomplish high standards for academic achievement within the child's capabilities, socially acceptable behaviour and encourage the interests of our pupils with a variety of extra-curricular activities.
The school believes that first-hand experience and the development of skills, techniques and knowledge is the best way forward to achieving each child's potential.
The school relies upon parental support and co-operation upon which we base encouragement, good relationships, respect, tolerance and understanding of others by our pupils.
