Oatlands is an oversubscribed three-form entry Infant school serving an increasingly diverse population. The school holds values at its core, with our nurturing staff modelling and living their values every day.

Our school is very well resourced and all staff work together to ensure that all children are able to access our broad and balanced curriculum. Staff are well supported through ongoing CPD and as such feel equipped and confident to meet the needs of all our children. Teachers are supported to take on subject leadership roles and to work with our Governing body to monitor curriculum content, engagement and outcomes.

Our experienced and stable staff team work collaboratively with each other and colleagues from our local partnership schools. Joint curriculum planning and preparation enable staff to have a good work life balance. Staff also benefit from a staff led mental health team who represent the staff team in supporting positive mental health in our school community.

Having had a very recent and successful Ofsted inspection, we are pleased to have had our many strengths affirmed. We continue to work together to ensure that Oatlands provides the very best experience for both the children and the staff who work here.
