Ravenhurst is a large County Primary School set in six and a half acres of grounds. Pupils are taught in single year group classes which offer a good standard of accommodation and technology.
Ravenhurst School has a caring environment, with the emphasis on co-operation and mutual respect and therefore pupils’ attitudes and behaviour are exceptionally good. The children, including the school council, play a central role in shaping the school’s future. The sense of community is further endorsed by the Governing Body’s commitment to the wearing of school uniform.
We expect the best from all our pupils and ourselves. We value academic success as well as personal achievement. Education at Ravenhurst builds on the strength and talents of each child. Our pupils are well motivated and confident. They become increasingly independent learners and thinkers so that they can achieve their aspirations and take full advantage of life’s opportunities. Pupil’s achievement, effort and good citizenship are rewarded in school in a variety of ways. These include Honours, Good Book and personal postcards sent home to parents.
