Overview

Our school fully lives up to our vision, values and aims. We want every child to succeed in reading, writing and maths as well as the other subjects, ie science, art and geography. We work hard to make sure our children are emotionally resilient, socially accepting, confidently work independently and develop a thirst for learning which will admirably support them in future years.

We teach high quality RE lessons (we are outstanding for our Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools in May 2013) and our daily collective worship has strong Christian themes. This means that our children talk confidently about what they have learnt about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. All our teachers, teaching assistants, learning support assistants work with such dedication, enthusiasm and creativity so that the children’s learning is the best it can be. They are supported by the office staff and governors.
