We are consistently one of the highest performing state comprehensive schools in Surrey. Students work hard here and achieve very well. We have a traditional curriculum, which suits the majority of our students who go on to sixth-form colleges to study A-Level and other Level 3 courses. A very successful vocational programme runs alongside this. We have a holistic view about education here at Rodborough. Education outside the classroom is very important to us. Students tell us they enjoy and value the wide range of clubs, sports, visits, trips and events that are on offer throughout the year.

We value the individual at Rodborough and encourage all young people to treat each other with respect. Students have many leadership opportunities available to them including the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, the Junior Sports Leaders Award Scheme and our Prefect system. This encourages our older students to take responsibility for the welfare of younger students and enhances the caring ethos of the school. We are heavily oversubscribed and serve the villages around Milford.

We are well regarded by our local community, both for our academic success and for our broad educational opportunities. We gained Academy status in August 2011 as our Governors believe this to be in the best interests of our current and future students. Our current School Development Plan priorities are Enquiry Based Learning and the acquisition of Life-Long Learning Skills. A full list of school policies, audited accounts and our statement of Pupil Premium Spending can be viewed from this website. We are supported by a wonderfully active PTA, known as ‘Friends of Rodborough’. Please do get in touch if you have an hour or two that you could offer. Our school site is well maintained and many of our facilities are available for hire by the local community.
