Overview

We are a large multi-cultural school and strive to meet our children’s wide-ranging needs and interests. Staff strengths enable a rich and active curriculum with guitar lessons, First Aid training, Spanish and lots of outdoor learning. Children regularly visit the local area and residential trips have included HMS Belfast, a farm-stay and rail-sail to Dublin. On Fridays, enrichment time offers activities like bikeability, Zumba and military skills, and an extensive before and after school programme, runs at cost.

About Us

Our core values “creativity, independence and choice” are reflected in everything we do. From the Foundation Stage self-service snack bar to Shine Week which is planned and led by the Year 6 leavers. Pupil voice is important, and through inspire workshops, Makaton Time, Stay and Play and Family Craft Days there are parents in school almost every day.
