We are delighted to announce that in the recent Section 8 OfSTED report (June 2017) our school has been graded as good and the report confirms we have sustained the good quality of education within a calm and purposeful learning atmosphere. We are proud of the fantastic environment we work in, as well as the rich curriculum and the warm atmosphere that our school achieves. We are pleased that this was recognised in the report and that the inspector was able to reflect on “the core values of respect, tolerance and kindness that underpin the quality of education at the school.”

Here at St Bartholomew’s we are committed to providing a stimulating environment for each child to achieve success and experience fulfilment in learning. All children benefit from specialist facilities and the many advantages of a complete, continuous, primary education. Our excellent accommodation includes a stimulating library, a multi purpose room where a number of activities including cookery take place, extensive playing fields and an attractive environmental area with pond for outdoor study. We shall be very pleased to provide you with further information or arrange an appointment for you to visit our happy, caring, supportive and forward thinking school.

About Us

St Bartholomew's is a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School nestled in the heart of Haslemere. We are a two from entry primary school and serve our parish as well as the wider Haslemere community. We aim to be inclusive and provide education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We warmly welcome pupils from non-Christian and non-religious backgrounds and the distinctive contribution of each tradition is valued. We work closely with the local community in fostering attitudes and values, which will provide firm foundations for a future within a global society. Our parents are very supportive of the school, especially through the Parents of Bart's (POBs) Association. A number of social activities are held including the Summer Fete and Christmas Fair which help to raise significant funds for the school
