About Us

As a Catholic school we offer our children the opportunity to grow as young people and encourage them to develop a closer relationship with God in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect.

Together, with our sister parish school, St Mary’s, St Catherine’s educates the children of St Mary’s Parish in Swindon. We work together as a collaborative partnership with me as the Executive Headteacher. This ensures a close working partnership between the schools.

The family of St Catherine’s is one in which each member is valued and respected for who they are. We aim to encourage and support the personal growth of each individual through living in our community, which is rooted in Christ and inspired by the Gospels. Our school is a very special place, successful and full of creative energy. Our children are happy and thriving: they have fun and have a passion for learning. They spend their days within a community of love which ensures that their learning journeys are thoughtfully planned with their best interests in mind.

Every child is welcomed and valued as a unique member of God's family and all staff are dedicated to providing a stimulating, nurturing and exciting environment.

Our Values

At St Catherine’s, we work together to enable everyone to become successful learners and we inspire all members of the school community to be the best that they can be.

Love      Belief      Mercy      Truth      Service      Peace

Our Values are based on the teachings of Jesus. We are inspired to learn and bring these values into our everyday lives in the service of each other, the parish, diocese and society.

We will have belief in God, belief in each other and belief in ourselves.

We will find peace and happiness in each other and in ourselves through God.

Each member of the school community will live to serve.

We will seek and speak the truth to set us free.

We will show one another mercy.

We will love God and one another as Jesus taught us.
