We are thrilled to announce that we have been successful in gaining the Full International School Award, which is credited for three years from September 2012 to 2015.

We have been working tirelessly in school to embedd the Global Dimension across all Key Stages over the past three years and this is the result of all the efforts by the staff and the children. Congratulations!

The panel stated: "A successful submission illustrating a creative variety of international learning experiences. Congratulations to all the staff and children for working so hard to co-ordinate such an impressive range of work across the school. You are a credit to your school and the wider community".

We initially received the International School Award for working with schools in India, Poland and Gambia.

Centre for online learning

We are now a 'Centre for Learning' (online learning). We are currently running online ICT courses for parents on Friday afternoons from 1.15 to 3.15pm. In the Spring term we will be running Literacy Courses and in the Summer Term we will be running Maths courses. Read more at www.learndirect.co.uk

Sandwell Healthy Schools - Bronze Award 2010

Sandwell Healthy Schools Scheme (SHSS) is an award scheme that aims to improve attainment within schools through focusing on health improvement of the whole school community.

SHSS provides a framework for supporting schools in identifying and developing key priorities for improving the health and well being of all individuals within the school community. Healthy Schools builds on the fact that schools are a key setting in which to promote the health of the whole school community.

Basic Skills Award - 2010

The Basic Skills Agency is a National organisation committed to improving standards of basic skills in English and Maths.

Sport England Activemark - Gold Award 2008

Sport England is focused on the creation of a world-leading community sport system.It invests National Lottery and Exchequer funding in organisations and projects that will grow and sustain participation in grassroots sport and create opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.

School Achievement Award - 2008

The scheme was originally developed to celebrate the achievements of schools that have either made significant improvement or are high performing. It achieved this, and over the three years that the scheme was in operation, nearly 13,800 schools won awards.

Activemark - 2008

The Active Schools programme is the foundation and critical element in Sport England's commitment to involving more people in sport.

Our School is part of the Birmingham Catholic Primary Partnership (BCPP)

The Birmingham Catholic Primary Partnership (BCPP) was established in 1995

Its core purpose is to 'promote curriculum and professional development, thereby enhancing the quality of teaching and learning in all Catholic primary schools in Birmingham and to work together in true partnership, thereby sharing expertise, so as to enrich the education of all the children in the Partnership schools, in an atmosphere of Christian love, which will benefit Catholic Education in the city'.
