MISSION STATEMENT

As a Catholic school, St Wulstan’s seeks to enable each child to walk in faith with Christ, loving Him and each other. With the help of our families, our parish and our local community, we will do our best to use the gifts that God has given us to make our world a richer place.

'Children thrive well in this school because they feel safe and are happy, confident to face challenges and have a very good understanding of how loved and special they are in God's eyes.'  RE Inpection February 2014

About Us

We are part of Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company who are a family of schools united in Christ and working as one, to provide the very best Catholic education, faith formation and personal growth, rooted in Gospel values.

Today, there are 10 schools in our family, one secondary, nine primary schools, including a Teaching School, spanning the Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell and Worcestershire Local Authorities. We have over 3000 children, over 400 staff and over 100 Directors and Local Governors.

NURTURE, CHALLENGE... FLY!

St Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School is situated in the parish of St Wulstan and St Thomas of Canterbury in Stourport on Severn. We are a one form entry primary school with seven classes from Reception to Year 6 providing education for children from Stourport, Bewdley and the surrounding area.

At St Wulstan’s we passionately believe that every child is unique and has limitless potential. Our goal is to nurture our pupils, to challenge them to be the best they can be.... so they can fly.

'This is a happy school and pupils are treated with respect and as individuals in an atmosphere of care and support.'  Ofsted December 2013

The BCPP

Our School is part of the Birmingham Catholic Primary Partnership (BCPP)

The Birmingham Catholic Primary Partnership (BCPP) was established in 1995

Its core purpose is to 'promote curriculum and professional development, thereby enhancing the quality of teaching and learning in all Catholic primary schools in Birmingham and to work together in true partnership, thereby sharing expertise, so as to enrich the education of all the children in the Partnership schools, in an atmosphere of Christian love, which will benefit Catholic Education in the city'.

We now have eighty schools that are full members of the BCPP. Vacancies at our schools can be found here
