Studley High School is an outstanding 11 – 16 mixed Academy school with capacity for 850 students. It is a community where pupils care for one another and staff work tirelessly to support all pupils as they develop.

We are continually praised for the exceptional atmosphere and behaviour of pupils within the school and welcome visits from anyone interested in joining us to benefit from our excellent provision.
We offer a broad, academic curriculum designed to meet the needs of all pupils.

Many of our pupils choose to go on to study A levels in high performing local 6th forms with a smaller number taking advantage of college courses or apprenticeships.

GCSE results are consistently, well above national averages with pupils achieving across a broad range of GCSEs.  Alongside our academic success we place great importance on the development of each pupil within the school. The simple premise by which we operate is that we believe in every pupil. We nurture, guide, support and challenge pupils to develop a ‘can do’ attitude and ‘do the right things in the right way’. We have an exceptionally pleasant school environment within which we have established a close community where everyone is valued.

We have modern, well equipped classrooms with the latest technology and new specialist classrooms in many areas. We also benefit from ample playing fields.

We offer a broad, academic curriculum designed to meet the needs of all pupils. Many of our pupils choose to go on to study A levels in high performing local 6th forms with a smaller number taking advantage of college courses or apprenticeships.

We applied for and successfully received Teaching School status in 2016, providing us with many more opportunities to develop education and teaching in the community and beyond, as lead school for the Shires Alliance. This includes delivering teacher training through our School Direct programme, supporting other schools through system leadership and creating and delivering relevant CPD to educators.

PART OF THE SHIRES MAT

Shires MAT formed in September 2020 and currently consists of 4 schools. Feckenham C of E Primary School is a small rural primary school with approximately 100 pupils and will see its first year 5 cohort start in September 2021. Studley High School is an oversubscribed 11-16 secondary school in Warwickshire with 800 pupils on roll. Webheath Academy Primary is an oversubscribed 2 form entry Primary School in Redditch with 420 pupils. Ridgeway Secondary school has just joined the MAT in September 2022.

Shires MAT aims to support our community in providing high quality education for all pupils and clarity of routes through a mixed two tier and three tier system locally.
