Sunnydown is a Surrey Local Authority special school for 85 secondary aged boys (11-16 years). All of our pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs. A proposal from the LA's Learning Difficulty Review (December 2013) is to re-designate Sunnydown School as a School for pupils with high functioning autism (11-16). They are in the main vulnerable youngsters who have failed to thrive in a mainstream setting.
