At Swinford Church of England Primary School, we believe that everyone can do amazing things, and our mission is to help make this potential a reality by

The school is a friendly and caring learning community, and we look after each other, our families. We are a small school of around 100 pupils, which are taught in 4 mixed age classes.

Swinford is a vibrant, busy and exciting place to be. We are all very proud of the children who come here and all that they achieve during their ‘journey’ through the school. The school has high expectations of behaviour and achievement, and we encourage all learning, (academic, personal and learning that takes place outside of school). Our children are taught to be well-mannered and respectful as well as to think of others.

As a Church school, our Christian vision of ‘love your neighbour as yourself’ underpins all that we do.

Our Christian vision is rooted in ‘Love your neighbour as yourself’ (Mark 12:31) and guides everything we do. It shapes our decisions, drives high standards, and helps every child and adult flourish.

We provide rich learning experiences that help children grow as unique individuals who value themselves and others—locally and globally.

By the time our pupils leave in Year 6, we aim for them to be confident, caring, and curious individuals who share their knowledge and inspire others.
