Welcome to our school. West Byfleet Community Infant School provides a caring and supportive environment and has high expectations of success. Our staff team is committed to creating an enthusiasm for learning and providing the best education to enable all our children to achieve their full potential.  West Byfleet is a Community Infant School for children from four to seven years of age. Our school is currently  a three form entry infant school of nine classes and a total of 270 pupils. We have nine classrooms, a smart sports hall,  library, sensory area,  large playground, wildlife garden and adventure play area.  The school is situated in a village setting, on an attractive site, with extensive grounds. We have a close liaison with our Junior School, which is on the same site, and strong links with the local church and community.  

West Byfleet Infant School was built in 1914. We celebrated our 100th birthday in August 2014! In Sept 2016 we completed our transition to three form entry, following extensive building works and internal remodelling.  This has given us some wonderful facilities, including a modern multi use hall, sensory area, library and additional classrooms. Our exceptional team of Teachers are supported by a strong and experienced team of LSAs and SNAs and are provided with regular release time to fulfill their responsibilities.  We have a strong commitment to teamwork and wellbeing.  We are supported by an experienced and highly effective group of Governors, supportive parents and Parents and Friends Association.
