Welcome to Our School

Yeo Moor is a good school (Ofsted June 2023). Children at our school learn to care about the sort of person they want to be, they learn to cherish and respect others and they learn to excel. Ofsted said, “Children behave exceptionally well and show care and regard for others.”

Yeo Moor is a place where children receive an excellent education. It is an environment where children are happy, engaged and purposeful. Ofsted describe it this way, “Pupils enthusiastically embrace learning opportunities and apply themselves diligently to their work. They respond well to clear classroom routines and the high expectations of the school to ensure that learning is not disrupted or time lost.”

We are very proud of our school community; we are passionate about being a school built on strong values. We believe our ethos has something very positive to offer every child.

Yeo Moor Primary School is situated in spacious and attractive grounds in the Victorian sea-side town of Clevedon, just 13 miles from Bristol.

Our school provides a vibrant, welcoming and safe place for children to learn and play in, with a strong emphasis on valuing individuals whilst nurturing a positive community spirit.

We make the most of our extensive grounds all year round both during play times and as an exciting resource for learning. We have sports pitches, play apparatus, an allotment garden, woodland and nature areas, a willow story circle, plus Upper and Lower school playgrounds for days when it is too wet to be on the field.

The school has approximately 360 pupils (420 capacity) aged between four and 11 years old with two classes in each year group. We are very proud of our dedicated and friendly staff team which brings a mix of qualities, skills and experiences to the school and enriches the learning of our children enormously.

Our Vision

By 2024 Yeo Moor will be a thriving, happy, healthy school community, with outstanding academic achievement underpinned by excellent reading skills, where all pupils are well rounded healthy individuals ready, willing, and excited to fully grasp the opportunities of secondary school.
