We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to join our team from 1st September on a Permanent term contract. The English department provides the opportunity to join a well-qualified and experienced team to make a real difference to the learning of our young people. The successful candidate will be creative, imaginative and someone who is passionate about developing their own personal pedagogy to motivate and enthuse students. We welcome applications from candidates with a range of teaching experience; 'the ability to teach KS4 Media and/or KS5 Film Studies would be beneficial. 

We also have a TLR available for a Raising Standards Lead - In this role, you will lead the tracking and analysis of Pupil Premium, SEND and High Ability student performance, ensuring effective interventions are planned and reviewed after each assessment point. You will coordinate “closing the gap” strategies, highlight underperformance to staff, and work with curriculum and AR leaders to ensure targeted support is delivered. This comes with an additional TLR D payment of £6,262. If you would also like to apply for this please make this clear on your application.
