Pewsey Vale, a small but thriving co-educational secondary school, is looking to expand its existing team of Exam Invigilators to supervise students taking both mock and public Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 examinations. Working hours will be variable and on a casual basis.
Contract: Zero hours. Working Hours: Casual. Likely hours will range between 8.00am until 4.00pm, Monday – Friday. Required: ASAP.
Educating young people between the ages of 11 and 16 years, we are located in the village of Pewsey and our school community works together to ensure that all students are supported to reach their full potential in both their academic and personal development. As a school, we provide a supportive and challenging learning environment where every student is recognised as an individual and empowered to succeed. We believe in teaching that engages students and challenges them to exceed expectation and take risks so they can be resilient, creative and successful individuals. In December 2024 we joined Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on collective experience.
Applications are welcomed from well-organised, methodical individuals with an interest in education. Successful applicants will have a calm and supportive manner and will be available, on a casual basis, throughout the year. Support will be required particularly during January, May and June, although this may vary, depending on examination requirements. Full training will be provided for the role.
Interested applicants are invited to contact Wendy Assirati for an informal chat about the role in the first instance.
