Acorn Education Trust is seeking a confident and reliable Driver to support our Central Team in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of school meal provision across our Wiltshire-based school sites. The role is physically demanding and will involve multiple meal delivery drops across various settings.
Working Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays, 38 weeks per year – no Teacher Training Days). Required: January 2026.

As part of our Collaborative Services Team, you will play an active role in delivering school meals across our settings, and will report to the Head of Catering / Head of Estates.
The successful candidate will have a full, clean driving license, be organised and consistent, and have a solid understanding of Health and Safety requirements. Previous experience in a similar driving or delivery role is desirable.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a full, clean driving licence;
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines, prioritising and scheduling effectively and efficiently;
- Has strong interpersonal and communications skills and can liaise effectively with school staff, pupils, and external agencies;
- Has a can-do attitude with excellent practical and organisational skills;
- Is self-motivated, dedicated and consistent and takes pride in their work;
- Is really strong team player who can use their own initiative;
- Is aware of health and safety requirements;
- Is physically fit (the role will require you to complete multiple drops at different sites);
- Has previous experience in a similar role (desirable).
