Teacher of Design Technology

Salary: Main Scale (ECT Applications encouraged) Contract Type: 0.7 - 1.0 FTE Start Date: 20/04/2026 or 01/09/2026

Ansford Academy is looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of DT to join our friendly and supportive team. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to start your career or an experienced professional seeking a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

We are ambitious about our Design Technology offer and have invested heavily in resources over the past few years, including a part-time DT Technician. The successful candidate will:

Teach across DT subjects, including Product Design and Food.

Plan and deliver highly effective lessons that lead to outstanding progress for all students.

Act as a trusted adult and Tutor, providing high-quality pastoral care.

Contribute to our vibrant curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
