A new opportunity has arisen for a flexible and resourceful Design Technology Technician to join our team at John F Kennedy Catholic School, playing a crucial role in supporting the department with preparation and assistance with materials as well as facility maintenance.
Job overview
You’ll be responsible for the preparation of a range of materials and apparatus for the Design Technology curriculum within teaching rooms for academic staff and students. As well as this, you’ll take pride in ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard, conforming to Health and Safety standards whilst also assisting in auditing the use of facilities and equipment and maintaining the equipment stores.
Job requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively monitor usage and standards of equipment and facilities
- Knowledge of relevant school policies and codes of safe practice within the classroom
