I am delighted to welcome you to the Ascension Catholic Academy Trust (ACAT).
Our Mission is simple, it is to make Christ known and for him to be loved.
We are determined to make the lives of our young people better by nurturing their ambition, striving for excellence in all that we do for them to enrich their lives so that they will make the world a better place by becoming the people that God created them to be.
We model our work on the example of service set by Jesus Christ.
We are part of the Diocese of Westminster and our schools currently span the local areas of Sunbury, Ashford, Staines and Twickenham. ACAT was launched in December 2022, and as at December 2022, we comprise six schools, four primary and two secondaries.
The Diocese of Westminster's Academy Strategy calls on all Catholic Schools, that are not yet academies, to engage in conversations through its Family of Schools model to explore the benefits that working in closer collaboration, as part of a Catholic Academy Trust, can bring. ACAT is the destination Trust for 'Family 4', which consists of schools in the Surrey, Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames areas.
It is an exciting time for our Trust. We are fortunate to have a committed and talented group of Headteachers leading committed and talented colleagues across each of our schools. As a result we are developing a strong, supportive collaborative culture that will only further improve the quality of Catholic education available for the young people that we serve.

VISION
Before his ascension, Jesus told the apostles ‘I am always with you’. We make the same commitment to the young people we are privileged to serve - we will always be with them.
We will be with them to support their faith formation, to cherish them as a unique gift from God and made in his image.
We will provide the very best Catholic education for each young person across our Trust so that they flourish and become the person that God created them to be.
Our Trust will be a beacon of excellence with Jesus Christ’s teaching placed at the heart of all that we do.
We will support all our families and serve the common good of our communities.

Love
We will ensure that each member of our Trust community will be loved, valued, respected and have equality of opportunity.
