We are a school federation that brings together Ashley Down Primary School and Brunel Field Primary School.

We have a Federation Leadership Team that works across both schools with the whole staff to build a shared vision for the Federation.

These values are promoted across the federation and act as a basis for all our learning. We aim to provide a broad, engaging and stimulating education for all our children combining a strong focus on learning skills with a joy in achieving to a very high standard in all aspects of learning. We aim for high standards at all times and in all aspects of school life, and expect excellent and responsible behaviour from all members of our school community, adults and children alike. Our main aim is that pupils and adults work hard together to celebrate the joy and fun of learning on a daily basis.

We provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities at school. We have a very strong tradition of music, drama and the creative arts with lots of opportunities during the year for children to show off their talents and commitment. We also have an excellent record of participation and achievement in sporting clubs and in competitions with other schools.

Ashley Down Primary School

Ashley Down Primary School was formed in September 2015, bringing together Ashley Down Infant School and Ashley Down Junior School.

Children join Ashley Down Primary School in Reception (Foundation Stage) and remain with us through to the end of Year 6 (KS2). We admit 60 children into two Reception classes (30 children in each class) every year.

Brunel Field Primary School

Brunel Field Primary School was opened in January 2011 to accommodate children from Reception (Foundation Stage) through to the end of Year 6 (KS2) and admits a total of 60 children into two Reception classes (30 children in each class) every year.

Brunel Field continues the long Ashley Down tradition of providing highly successful and nurturing education.
