About the High School Leckhampton

About the Role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our friendly Site Team. Working under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
We can offer flexible working opportunities, from a few hours per week through to full-time positions, making this an ideal role for those looking to work around other commitments.
Available working patterns include:
- Early mornings before 8:30am
- Evenings from 5:00pm onwards
- Monday to Sunday shifts available
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Operating cleaning equipment, including scrubber dryers
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, sinks and washroom facilities
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces and mirrors
- Maintaining cleanliness in classrooms, offices and communal areas
- Following cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements
- Reporting maintenance issues to the Cleaning Supervisor
- Restocking cleaning supplies as required
What We Are Looking For
We would welcome applications from individuals who:
- Have previous commercial cleaning experience, although this is not essential
- Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Have good attention to detail and work thoroughly
- Can work independently and use their initiative
- Have strong time management skills
- Are reliable, dependable and punctual
- Can communicate effectively with colleagues and staff
- Understand the importance of health and safety in the workplace
- Are committed to contributing positively to the school environment
