Location: Bedminster Down School (near Bristol)

Contract: 32 hours per week. Term time only, plus two inset days.

Bedminster Down is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join the school as the co-ordinator for educational visits alongside other enrichment activities for students. Bedminster Down School is rated as good by Ofsted and our large support staff team play a vital role in ensuring that the wider needs of our students are catered for as effectively as possible.

Working at the direction of an Assistant Headteacher, you will be responsible for leading and building on our existing provision for trips and visits. You will manage the administrative processes required to ensure trips are run safely and effectively, and you will attend many trips yourself with young people, both locally and nationally. To ensure our extra-curricular provision as consistently excellent you will also maintain close working relationships with outside providers of widening participation activities.

The ideal candidate for this post will have experience of working with young people, will appreciate the value of learning outside of the classroom and will understand how these opportunities can inspire students and improve their aspirations. Most of all though, you will be organized, positive and have a ‘can-do’ attitude. You will be provided with a range of support and training, including any necessary qualifications, to ensure you can fulfill the duties of the post well. Please note this is a non-teaching role.
