To start in September 2025, we are looking for an exceptional Languages teacher who will inspire and motivate students in this high achieving state-funded day and boarding school for boys in the lower school and large mixed Sixth Form in Bath.
We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm, high expectations and standards who will have an outstanding impact both within and beyond the confines of the classroom. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate an ability to deliver excellent academic results and exemplary classroom practice. This position is equally suitable for an experienced teacher and one new to the profession.
Within the Languages Faculty the successful candidate will enjoy working alongside a supportive and experienced group of colleagues. The Languages results are strong and student uptake at GCSE and A’ level is very high. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both French and Spanish at KS3 and at least Spanish to GCSE and beyond including A’ level. An ability to teach German would also be an advantage but is not essential.
The School has a vibrant extra-curricular life, which includes sport, music, drama, outdoor activities, debating and public speaking. A willingness to contribute, including supporting Languages curriculum trips, will be a clear advantage.
