We are seeking an exceptional Art and Photography teacher, with a specialism in Photography, to join our high-performing boys’ lower school and mixed Sixth Form from 1 September 2026. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students, fostering creativity and enthusiasm for both Art and Photography. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate teacher who strives for the highest standards and can create a genuine sense of excitement for learning both within and beyond the classroom.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to deliver outstanding academic outcomes alongside exemplary classroom practice. The role will involve teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and Art & Photography at both GCSE and A Level.

This position would suit either an experienced teacher or someone new to the profession who is eager to develop their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.

The school examination results are very strong at both GCSE and A Level with a track record of high attainment over many years. The school also has a vibrant extra-curricular life which includes sport, music, drama, outdoor activities, debating and public speaking. Many staff contribute significantly to this programme and a willingness to contribute will be an advantage.

Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant pre-employment checks, including checks with past employers.
