To start from 1st September 2026, we are looking for an exceptional Music teacher who will inspire and motivate students in this high performing Bath boys’ lower school and mixed Sixth Form.
We need someone with dynamism who aspires to the highest standards and who will create a buzz and excitement about Music. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate exemplary classroom practice and will be required to teach at Key Stage 3, 4 & 5. This position is equally suitable for an experienced teacher and one new to the profession.
The role is initially fixed term for one year but has the potential to become a permanent role.
The school examination results are very strong at both GCSE and A Level with a track record of high attainment over many years. The school also has a vibrant extra-curricular life which includes sport, music, drama, outdoor activities, debating and public speaking. Many staff contribute significantly to this programme and a willingness to contribute will be an advantage.
Music plays an important role in the life of the school with several prestigious events each year and we are constantly looking for opportunities for more students to study and take part in music opportunities within the school.
