An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join Seagrave Village Primary School as an Administration Assistant on a part-time, permanent basis. The post holder will ideally be required to work 8:45am – 11:45am, Mondays to Thursdays and 8:45am – 3:30pm on Fridays during Term Time including Inset Days. Whilst this is the preferred working pattern we are happy to discuss and negotiate the hours of work at interview stage for the right candidate.

This is a key position in the school, being the face of the school and first point of contact for parents, visitors and the school community. The post holder will undertake a full range of administrative duties with regard to student attendance and general school office support. As Administration Assistant you can expect to support the Office Manager in offering excellent customer service to the school; ensuring the administration of the school runs efficiently and effectively. You will be expected to build strong positive professional relationships with our families and stakeholders, answering telephone calls and deal with general enquiries, forwarding more complex enquiries where appropriate.

We are looking for a positive individual who is friendly, a good communicator, organised and has the ability to work unsupervised. The successful candidate must have great attention to detail, be flexible and have the ability to work to deadlines whilst applying a good level of English and Maths across their work. Experience of working with children and a diverse group of families is desirable as the post holder will need discretion to deal with sensitive personal information. A good sense of humour is essential when working in our school!
