Grade: Grade 7, Pts 11 to 14
Salary: £13,804 to £14,648 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Broomfield Primary School. The Cover Supervisor is responsible for supervising whole classes during teacher training, teacher planning time and absences. The Cover Supervisor will need to be able to assist pupils with their work, respond to questions and uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom. Where cover is not needed, the Cover Supervisor will support with other classroom duties and 1:1 support for children.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the cover provision of the school ensuring the success of our students. Broomfield Primary School is made up of many enthusiastic, innovative and very knowledgeable teachers who will be able to provide guidance and support to this role.
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold an NVQ Level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent) with experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting.
• Have the ability to work alongside a wide range of colleagues.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Have a passion for supporting young people with a range of additional and often challenging needs.
