Contracted Hours: 28.75 hours per week
Working Weeks: Term Time only, 39 weeks per year to include inset days
Grade: Grade 7, points 11 - 14
Salary: £13,804 to £14,648 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join The Pochin Primary School to undertake the role of Cover Supervisor. The Pochin School is highly sought after and has 160 pupils from 3-11 years old. The school is in the small picturesque village of Barkby, with a strong village community feel. Our school is looking for someone who is kind, creative, imaginative and has a great sense of humour to come and join their team at the beginning of the new academic year.
The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during teacher planning time, teacher training and short-term absence. The Cover Supervisor will need to be able to assist pupils with their work, respond to questions and uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have:
• An NVQ Level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent)
• The ability to work alongside a wide range of colleagues
• Strong communication skills
• A passion for supporting young people with a range of additional and often challenging needs.
