Due to the promotion of the current Headteacher within our Trust an exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership as the Headteacher at The Merton Primary School. We are seeking a Headteacher who is ambitious, collaborative and ethical in their approach, someone who has passion to take the school into the next stages of its development working as part of the team at Bradgate Education Partnership.

The role of Headteacher is a rewarding one with the opportunity to lead the school into the future and have a lasting impact on the local community. Being a Headteacher at Bradgate Education Partnership also provides opportunity to work with an experienced Executive Team and other experienced Headteachers, networking and having opportunity to shape the educational landscape within the area.


The ideal candidate will:

• Have extensive previous experience of working as part of a Senior Leadership Team

• Be able to demonstrate success at leading school improvement and raising education standards for children

• Possess a leadership qualification or working towards

• Possess the ability to empower staff and include them in the next stages of the schools journey

• An excellent written and verbal communicator

• Align to the mission, vision and values of Bradgate Education Partnership
