Contracted Hrs: 32.5 hours per week
Working Wks: Term Time + 1 (39 weeks per year)
Grade: Grade 5, Pts 7 to 8
Salary: £14,415 to £14,704 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
An exciting opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and qualified Learning Support Assistant to join us at Great Dalby Primary School.
Working with whole classes, small groups and SEN pupils on an individual 1:1 basis, the role of LSA within the school is an important and rewarding one. The post holder is responsible for supporting pupils with their work and supporting the Class Teacher in ensuring that the highest quality of education is provided.
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting.
- Experience of supporting SEN in an educational setting is desirable
- Knowledge of various health or SEND conditions and needs, e.g diabetes, autism, ADHD etc. Good
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- The ability to contribute to the progression of learning
