Working Wks: Term Time Only + Inset Days (39 weeks)
Grade: Grade 5, Pts 7 to 8 (LSA); Grade 4, Pts 5 to 6 (MDS)
Salary: £11,829 to £12,067 per annum (LSA); £1,059 to £1,070 per annum (MDS)
Start Date: ASAP
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Mercenfeld Primary School as a Learning Support Assistant with Midday Supervisor responsibilities on a permanent basis. The Learning Support Assistant is responsible for providing support to our pupils and teachers within the school to provide a high quality provision. The hours for this role will incorporate working with our current excellent team of lunchtime staff.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be NVQ Level 2 qualified (or equivalent)
• Have experience in a classroom environment
• Have the motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills
• Have the ability to contribute to the progression of learning
