Salary: £11,643 to £11,877 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join Stafford Leys Primary School on a permanent basis.
Working with whole classes, small groups and SEN pupils on an individual 1:1 basis, the role of LSA within the school is an important and rewarding one. The post holder will be responsible for supporting pupils with their work and supporting the Class Teacher in ensuring that the highest quality of education is provided.
The ideal candidate will:
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting
• Experience of supporting SEN in an educational setting is desirable
• Knowledge of various health or SEND conditions and needs, e.g. diabetes, autism, ADHD etc.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• The ability to contribute to the progression of learning
