An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Cobden Primary School as a Pre School Manager on a full-time permanent basis. We are seeking a dedicated leader who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the preschool, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and promoting an exceptional experience for children, families and staff.

The Preschool Manager will lead and inspire staff, maintain strong relationships with families and external agencies, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables every child to thrive. They will also be willing to be the designated safeguarding lead for the pre-school.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum (Level 5 or above desirable) 

• Have significant experience working within an early years setting 

• Have previous leadership or management experience within a nursery or preschool environment 

• Possess a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding requirements 

• Be able to lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve excellence 

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Have experience of managing operational, financial and administrative responsibilities 

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children 

• Build positive relationships with children, families, staff and external partners

• Have experiences advocating and leading SEND in a pre-school/Early Year setting
