Are you seeking a new opportunity to be part of a flourishing Art department, where you can inspire students and instil an appreciation of creativity in your classroom?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Wreake Valley Academy as a Teacher of Art on a fixed term basis until 31st December 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be required to work 32.5 hours per week.
We are seeking a passionate and creative Teacher of Art to deliver lessons that inspire a love of Art within our students. You’ll be responsible for delivering Art lessons in line with curriculum requirements, with experience of teaching across a range of different creative mediums, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained and allowing your students to flourish creatively.

The Ideal Candidate will:
• Have Qualified Teacher Status
• Relevant specialist qualifications and creative experience (e.g BA Hons degree in Art)
• Ability to deliver Art and teach a range of creative styles and mediums
• Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Art
• Knowledge of how to hone learners’ artistic style and techniques in conjunction with set artists across various modules
