27.5 hours per week, term time only plus inset (39 weeks per year)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Outwoods Edge Primary School as a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant for 27.5 hours per week. We have two fixed term positions initially for the 2026/27 academic year. Although the contract is fixed term, it may be extended or may cease depending on continued pupil specific funding, linked to children with visa related support requirements.

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children with specific learning needs, as well as social, emotional and mental health needs. We are seeking an individual with a genuine passion and commitment to supporting our children, and someone who is able to work effectively with parents and other educational professionals.

The ideal candidate will:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in supporting teaching and learning

• Experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting

• Experience of supporting SEN in an educational setting is desirable

• Knowledge of various health or SEND conditions and needs, e.g. autism, ADHD, diabetes etc.

• Good literacy and numeracy skills
