Would you like to work in a school and oversee students lessons when a teacher is unavailable? You can gain this valuable experience as a Cover Supervisor. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, adaptable, and well-organized staff to join our Fairfield team.
We wish to recruit Cover Supervisors who will support the school through delivering planned lessons. You will be expected to cover a variety of classes and subjects where work will be set for students. Your role will be to ensure that work is completed whilst managing the behaviour of students in the classroom according to our school policy. You will be covering in the teacher’s absence; therefore, strong classroom management skills are essential. When no cover is required, you will support other departments.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am until 3.40pm, inclusive of half an hour lunch break – total hours 33.75 per week, term time only plus 5 Inset Days.
The successful candidate will:
- Be adaptable
- Have good communication skills and have an ability to explain instructions clearly
- Have good behaviour management skills
- Have experience of working with young people
