We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate teacher to lead our Emotional Health and Wellbeing Specialist Resource Base (SRB). This Cardiff-wide provision supports pupils with emotional health and wellbeing needs, and the successful candidate will play a central role in shaping a nurturing, relational, and aspirational environment in which pupils feel valued, understood, and motivated to succeed.
About the Role
The SRB Lead Teacher will:
- Provide strong, empathetic leadership rooted in restorative and relational practice.
- Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with colleagues, families, and external partners to remove barriers and enhance opportunities for pupils.
- Develop and sustain a culture of reflection, professional growth, and continuous improvement within the SRB team.
- Uphold the inclusive ethos of the school and ensure the SRB contributes meaningfully to whole-school development.
