Cardiff West Community High School is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Health and Wellbeing (Girls’ PE) to join our vibrant and ambitious learning community.

The Role

You will:

• Teach Health and Wellbeing / Girls’ PE across Key Stages 3, 4 and Post 16

• Plan and deliver high quality, engaging learning experiences aligned to the Curriculum for Wales

• Promote positive physical, mental and emotional wellbeing

• Support students’ personal development through tutoring, mentoring and enrichment

• Contribute to a strong, collaborative department and whole school ethos

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Is a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience teaching in a secondary setting

• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for girls’ physical education and wellbeing

• Is committed to inclusive practice, high expectations and student progress

• Works well as part of a team and values professional learning

• Builds positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families

Welsh language skills, the ability to teach additional subjects, and a commitment to restorative and relational practice are desirable but not essential.
