About Us

Cardinal Newman is a two-form entry Catholic Primary School situated in Hersham Surrey serving the parishes of All Saints, Hersham and St Erconwald's, Walton. We became an academy school as part of the Xavier Multi Academy Trust on 1st September 2016. The School's ethos strongly reflects Gospel values and the school's commitment to fostering the uniqueness of each child, enabling them to achieve their full potential within a caring learning environment.

The creative curriculum that Cardinal Newman provides, is enriched by visits and visitors, generating enthusiasm and insight into a range of topics. THere are also a variety of opportunities for extra-curricular sports and activities.

The school is a welcoming community with close links between families, school and the parishes and has a thriving Parents' Association. Children are given a keen sense of the schools' place within the wider community through charity events, local visits and aspects of citzenship. Pupils are taught by example to value and respect others.
