Trinity Academy is a highly oversubscribed free school that opened in 2019. We are a values based community that focuses on the learning of all students and staff, that cares deeply for our young people and each other and that is committed to co-curricular enrichment. Our stated goal is to be a +1 school for progress and as such, we are looking for a highly motivated, professional and well qualified Peripatetic Piano teacher and leader to join us in our mission.

We are a music specialist school which means:

  • All year 7 students are offered a free instrument and heavily discounted lessons
  • All year 7 and 8 students sing in a weekly choir
  • Key Stage 3 students receive 2 weekly 50 minute lessons

  • Complete support from the Headteacher, the Leadership team and the Trust in prioritising music

Applicants should hold the equivalent of teaching diploma, Conservatoire/University performance degree qualification or have a proven track record of excellence.

This is a self-employed position with approximately 9 hours work per week at a rate of £36 per hour. The work will expand as the Cathedral Schools Trust grows.

This is a unique opportunity to join a team that is establishing a new school as we enter our fifth year whilst planning the opening of our Sixth Form in 2024.
