This post is suitable for either an ECT Teacher or more experienced practitioner. We welcome applications from those without prior A level experience, but with knowledge and ability to learn quickly. Applicants from other subject backgrounds considered.

Candidates must be passionate about teaching: committed to improving the learning outcomes of all pupils; able to demonstrate the ability to deliver high quality teaching and inspire and motivate young people to achieve outstanding outcomes.

We believe in educating young people not only for their academic success, but to be powerful citizens. English is at the heart of this and our pupils are passionate about the written and spoken word. We teach challenging texts in mixed ability sets and believe in the power of developing our pupils’ cultural capital alongside their reading and writing skills. We also actively seek to decolonise and diversify our curriculum and welcome applicants with a passion for this work.
