Full Time Equivalent Salary – Grade 5 Points 11-14 £27,269 - £28,624

Based at - Marling School

We are looking for an Assistant Caretaker to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity of working together to generate and celebrate success within our communities. Start Date – ASAP

Hours: To be agreed with successful applicant, but must be available for locking the site between the hours of 17:00 & 20:00, 5 days per week.

The Site Team of Marling School are looking to recruit an energetic and motivated individual looking for a career supporting education in Stroud. Joining an established and experienced team in maintaining a clean, safe and secure site. Full training will be given so enthusiasm, innovation and a willingness to learn is essential. You will be methodical with a strong attention to detail. The role is varied and will involve working on your own initiative, as well as part of the team.

Candidates should enjoy working outdoors on a variety of tasks and have:

• Willingness to complete a wide variety of tasks to a high standard

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure using initiative

• Have an understanding of the importance of Health & Safety

• A calm, flexible approach

• The interest and enthusiasm to play an active part in school life
