We are looking for a Teacher of Art to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity of working together to generate and celebrate success within our communities. We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Art to work with our Art Team in taking the department on to even greater success.

Art is a popular and successful subject within the School. Student outcomes at both GCSE and A Level are exceptional. The School places great value on the breadth of its curriculum offer for Art, with three endorsements currently offered at GCSE, and five at A Level.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a passion for teaching Art and the ability to inspire both staff and students.

• Insist on a commitment from all young people to achieve success, and will have the ability to motivate students with a focus on maximising attainment.

• Have outstanding subject knowledge and an awareness of current developments in Art teaching.

• Have the ability to teach Art to GCSE.

• Be fully committed to a strong safeguarding culture across the School.
