We are looking for a Teacher of Design Technology to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity of working together to generate and celebrate success within our communities. We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Design Technology to work with our Design Technology Team in taking the department on to even greater success.
Design Technology is taught as a carousel in Key Stage 3, with students then opting between Food & Nutrition, Design Engineering and Product Design as potential GCSE options. Design Technology also forms part of our A Level offer.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a passion for Design Technology and the ability to inspire both staff and students.
• Have the ability to teach Design Technology to GCSE.
• Be flexible in terms of their contribution to the teaching of the Design Technology curriculum.
• Have a willingness to contribute to the department’s range of enrichment activities.
• Contribute to whole school improvement and self-evaluation.
