Teaching Assistant

Salary: JG5 (£22,265 - £25,215) – actual starting salary £16,953 per annum

Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, term time only + INSET

Start Date: As soon as possible


We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to take an active role in supporting students as part of the Student Services team. The successful candidate will have a focus on enabling young people to make a positive difference and achieve the Academy’s vision: to set no limits on what we can achieve.


The successful candidate will:

• Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

• Be willing to be a tutor within the Academy pastoral system (an additional annual payment is available for this)

• Have experience of working with students with a range of SEND

• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Be able to work within a dynamic and challenging environment

• Be able to manage their time, resources and workload effectively with minimum supervision.
