Clare House School Porthcawl is seeking to appoint a highly organised and professional Admissions and School Operations Executive to join our founding team. This is an opportunity to play a central role in shaping the experience families have from their very first interaction with the school, helping create a welcoming, efficient and values-led environment where every child is celebrated, known and encouraged to thrive.

Role overview

  • Lead the administration of the admissions process from enquiry through to enrolment and beyond
  • Support families throughout their admissions journey, ensuring communication is professional, responsive and relational
  • Coordinate school tours, open events and admissions activities
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of school administration and operational systems
  • Manage communication channels including email, telephone and front-of-house enquiries
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and ensure compliance with GDPR and school policies
  • Contribute to community events and activities that strengthen relationships with families and the wider school community

Requirements

  • Experience in an administrative, customer-facing or operational role
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence using administrative systems, databases and digital platforms
  • A professional, calm and solution-focused approach
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and commitment to pupil wellbeing
