Abbey Farm Educate Together has a vacancy for a SENDCo from September 2026 on a 06.FTE basis.
Our school will eventually serve 420 pupils, plus pre-school and acts as a community hub for residents of the Abbey Farm development.
We have a strong, values-based approach to education, using an ethical curriculum alongside the National Curriculum and EYFS Statutory Framework.
We are part of Educate Together Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Keynsham, Bath and Weston-Super-Mare.

We are looking for an inspiring SENDCo to join our school to provide the best education for our children by ensuring they are supported, engaged, and inspired in their learning. The successful candidate will have a passion for SEND and experience in supporting vulnerable children. The role may include some cover teaching as required.
As part of our energetic, hardworking, and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success whilst supporting the development of a healthy learning environment for all children within the school.

- can work effectively with all stakeholders, particularly parents.
- has a sound knowledge of the SEND code of practice.
- is committed to the ETAT ethos and values
- has SENDCo experience and has the National Professional Qualification for SENCOs (NPQ SENCO)
- can work supportively and collaboratively
- is able to lead, challenge and motivate children and colleagues
